Really lovely meal here on a Saturday night, busy little restaurant which we took as a good sign when staying locally, and it didn't disappoint.
We spend under £50 for shift drinks, poppadoms, two mains, two rice and two nans. And we're stuffed when we left.
Good choice of vegetarian dishes, and all very tasty food.

After eating in Indian places all over including Birmingham, London, Leamington and Warwick I have never found one as good as this. Not only that but it is so affordable. Me and my girlfriend went, and the bill came to only around £30 for popadoms, curry, rice, naan and drinks. Despite the price, the quality is always extremely good, and the service is always really friendly.

Friendly but overworked staff. Awful location. Served sizzling half tandoori chicken breast that was totally RAW on the inside. Very concerned that their hygiene rating
May not be what they say it is! ALSO Voucher scheme on website is a SCAM. Took my details then message said 'we're not issuing vouchers until we get MORE email addresses'.

OK, I'm putting loads on the line here BUT, personally, I have had super tasty curries here every time!
Love the options of what you like and your preference to heat 🥵. Though not directly on menu... my personal fave is Chicken Tikka Madras Hot. NEVER DISSATISFIED!

Had a pick up order, samosas were good, same with the poppadoms and dip, Nann bread wasn't to nice and the chicken korma was tasteless, the chicken especially. Guys seemed friendly in the place itself but the food wasn't actually that good

Got 2 Chicken baltis. Extremely disappointing. The sauce had virtually no flavour or spice whatsoever and was quite watery and not condensed down. We've had much better out of a jar.
The rest was OK Naan bread, rice, but severely let down by the curry. Have had a decent spicy curry from here before but tonight's certainly was not 👎

Had a take away last night and food wasn't tht nice. Egg fried rice had loads of onion in. Chips tasted undercooked and was soggy from sweating in bag but hard potato.
Wouldn't return and would recommend

This unassuming Indian restaurant is an absolute gem. I can't recommend it enough. Great staff, friendly relaxed atmosphere and excellent food at reasonable prices.

I had a birthday celebration with a large group, They have an upstairs room which can seat 50 people, All of my group loved it, I am amazed that they can cater for so many and they can bring the food out at the same time.. .It was delicious.. Shahi Palace made this a wonderful experience that helped to make it a very special day.
I dine here regularly, and it's always fantastic and delicious food. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Not a good experience.
The Tandoori Chicken was ok, despite the leaking foil bag it was delivered in. The rest of the food was rather bland.
The worst part was the delivery and presentation. I don’t know if it was the restaurant, or the delivery company, but the food arrived exactly two hours after ordering, and it was cold. The packages were squished tightly into a bag that was too small, and the containers were squished, bent, and leaking. It was a mess everywhere taking things out of the bag onto the counter.
There were tightly tied small plastic bags containing what seemed like salads. Not well packaged. There was a doughy item we could not identify, even after tasting it.
When the delivery guy came to the door, he handed me the bag silently,and I asked if they were busy, as it had been exactly two hours. He looked at his slip of paper, and said "was it? Oh yes…it was two hours…call the restaurant, it wasn’t me", and walked away.
I do not believe this restaurant is really equipped to offer delivery. Two hours with no updates, and not well packaged. I can put up with food that isn’t to my taste, but the delivery and mess unpacking it all ruined the experience completely.
We had ordered £45 worth of food, planning for leftovers. We threw most of it away though. We’ve complained to the delivery company, and are not sure how this will be handled.
My suggestion to anyone wishing to try this restaurant would be to visit and eat in.

But even down south west we don't charge £5 for 3 poppadoms..

Staff are welcoming, polite and full of personality.
Food portions are generous, full of flavour and excellent value.
Only place we will go for a curry from now on.

Not too many choices for places to eat out in Redditch now. Food is ok but general state of the building is very poor. Really nasty carpets. It looks like they are currently have some renovations done so hopefully things will improve.

Took my mum for her 70th birthday and the guys at Shahi went waaaay above and beyond.. they were absolutely fantastic and even got my mum a cake!! The food was delicious and priced cheap for the quality of food that we had. I could not recommend this place enough. The food, the atmosphere and the service was incredible. Thank you Shahi palace for making my mum's 70th birthday absolutely lovely.

Haven't been here for ages. Had a reunion of old colleagues. All though I haven't been here for ages, I had monkfish special which was excellent, the service is still very good, atmosphere is still very good on the plus side they serve alcohol now. Would recommend this restaurant 💯
